You go to mailchimp site -> go to the form you are using -> you choose the part you do not want "required" and on the right of the screen will be the "Required field" section, You put a checkmark in it and save the field. then you go back to your site and refresh.

Currently this theme is using fontawesome icon library, dashicon icon library, eleganticons icon library. Apart from these libraries, they will not use any more icon libraries
