Hello,
I edited via cPanel and received an error message, as attached.
(Also, I don't know FTP just yet.)

Unfortunately, I received an error message when doing so: "Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP."
Please see attached. Is there another suggestion?
Thank you,
Kasia

The start date was removed from the main Jobs list page, but it still shows up in each individual job posting (see attached). Is it possible to show only the expiration date on here, too?
Sincerely,
Kasia

I did as requested, but no change! Also, I cleared the cache, restarted my mobile phone, tried a private browser, waited 30 minutes - nothing.
Please help.
Sincerely,
Kasia
Thank you for your support!

ALSO: Out of curiosity: when an employer shortlists a candidate, does the candidate know about it?

4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: Is it possible to have all hyperlinks inside my blog go directly to a new tab? #1204996Helo Dangdv,
On this blog post, all of my links open up in a new tab because I set them that way individually: https://www.ikigaiconnections.com/online-opportunities-webinar-recap/
(Ex: the Bluehost link)
However, all of my old blog posts are different.
In this blog post, the links don't go to an external tab: https://www.ikigaiconnections.com/im-overseas-how-can-i-get-a-job-in-the-us-using-japanese/
If I were to go into all of my old blog posts to change the internal links so they click to a new tab, it will take me hours. Is there a way to make it so ALL links on my blog posts go to a new tab?
Thank you,
Kasia
Hello dangdv,
Thank you so much for your speedy reply! It worked 🙂

This is a duplicate question, so please ignore it. I sent the original just a moment ago, so please check. Thank you!

For some reason, my original question went through twice, so tinhbeng also responded to it (quote #1103283).
I appreciate your response, but have decided to forget about this, especially because I already have too many plugins on my website. The best solution for me would be to have my blog page divided into 3 columns: widgets on left, smaller blog posts in the middle, widgets on right. But I understand that this isn't possible.
Thank you again for your time!
Kasia4 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Blog page: removing logo to left of each blog post & making pictures smaller #1108245Hello!
For some reason, my initial question was sent twice, and dangdv already responded (quote #1100231 and #1101712).
I tried your solution, but it only sliced off the bottom portion of my featured photos on ikigaiconnections.com/blog. It didn't make them smaller nor proportionate.
This is fine - I have decided to not worry about this problem anymore. Optimally, I would love for my blog page to have 3 columns (widget on left, smaller blog posts, widget on right), but I understand that is very difficult to do.
Thank you for your time!

4 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Blog Page: removing logo to left of blog post & making photo smaller #1101182Hello!
#1: worked perfectly - thank you!
#2: I added the code to my child theme's functions.php, and then in Settings > Media, I changed the Medium size from 300 to 200. Then all of my photos got very blurry/unfocused and the size remained the same! I removed your code and returned my medium size to 300.
Did I do something wrong?
Thank you,Kasia
Please ignore my question: I discovered the answer via a different thread!
Thank you,
Kasia
4 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Extra space when adding cookie disclaimer to fourth footer section #1101174Thank you for your response!
I mistakenly assumed that I needed to have 4 columns for the cookie disclaimer, but now realize that I can do it with the 3 columns that I want.
Sincerely,
Kasia
