Hello!
I have 2 questions about the blog page of my website (ikigaiconnections.com).
1) How can I remove the logo to the left of the picture?
2) How can I make my featured pictures smaller in size?
Thank you!

1. To remove logo in left of Blog page, please go to menu 'Customize -> Blog -> Single Post' and un-check setting 'Show Author's Avatar'2. If you want change image size in Blog page, please add custom code in file your theme's functions.php
add_filter('post_thumbnail_size',function($size){ if(!is_front_page() && is_home()){ $size = 'medium'; // can use 'large' or 'thumbnail' } return $size; });
Then go to admin menu 'Settings -> Media' and change image size setting to new size you want.
Best regards.

#1: worked perfectly - thank you!
#2: I added the code to my child theme's functions.php, and then in Settings > Media, I changed the Medium size from 300 to 200. Then all of my photos got very blurry/unfocused and the size remained the same! I removed your code and returned my medium size to 300.
Did I do something wrong?
Thank you,Kasia
3 years, 11 months ago #1101712Dear, please change Medium size to 'Max Width: 600' and 'Max Height: 300' then use Regenerate Thumbnails to Regenerate thumbnail on your site again.
best regards.
3 years, 11 months ago #1108246Hello,
For some reason, my original question went through twice, so tinhbeng also responded to it (quote #1103283).
I appreciate your response, but have decided to forget about this, especially because I already have too many plugins on my website. The best solution for me would be to have my blog page divided into 3 columns: widgets on left, smaller blog posts in the middle, widgets on right. But I understand that this isn't possible.
Thank you again for your time!
