Dear, I don't understand your question because default theme use English and update theme will replace all theme files old version with new version.
If your translate file save in theme folder, it will lose after update theme. Please move your translate to wordpress language folder 'wp-content/languages/theme'

Dear, i think that problem because you use 'Company Alphabet' as Custom but not add 'Custom Letters' setting. Please go to 'Jobmonster -> Settings -> Company' and change setting 'Company Alphabet' to Default and check your site again.

If you want hide it, please remove custom CSS code then go to admin menu 'Realty Portal -> Settings -> Map & Location' and disable 'Show nearby places' setting.
