Hello,
I understand clearly what purpose the Jobmonster theme has - that it is designed for two different roles: Candidate and Employer. I understand that each of these roles must have different login, different backend and different purpose.
But I am talking about me building a website. I am neither an Employer nor a Candidate. I am a designer. I need to be able to see all the pages from both Employer and Candidate without constant logging out and logging in.
Is this so hard to understand? And it is nowhere to find on your theme's page that it does not have this basic funcionality.
I've contacted five other job portal themes' developers and all of them confirmed that in their themes the website designer is able to see, check, modify and/or change all the pages from one admin login: that's how it's supposed to be.
I've also gotten into some trouble already with my client couple of weeks ago - not because of the holiday in your country but because you weren't able to help me on time with absolutely basic problem with the header. I cannot risk my own job if problems like this persist in the upcoming year. This was a rather trivial problem, and I cannot invest mine and my client's time into the website as complicated as this if we cannot rely 100% on the quick and professional support. I am sorry.
My refund claim is actually more about your support than the theme itself.
Thank you for understanding.
I would still appreciate the good will and the refund. Thank you.
David
Hello,
I am sorry but I really cannot work with your theme - many things don't make sense at all.
I still don't get why I am forced to be logged in as an Employer. This way - if I want to see Candidate's back end - I'd have to create another login just to check it, then log out and log back in as Employer, make adjustments, log out and log back in as Candidate and so on. Or I could have two different browsers opened, logged in each of the as Candidate and Employer and keep switching between these two. No sense at all.
I've checked with some other developers meantime and none of their job portal themes has such a strange solution. With all the other themes - as they say - I will be able to see and modify ALL the pages while building the site.
Your documentation page - that's another problem. The menu in the right sidebar. If you think it is working as it should then do this: click on section Extra and when it shows you the content on the left side of the page, try to click on Theme Customizer section in the menu. Well? If I'm not mistaken you have to scroll all the way down just to see it. The menu in the sidebar does not scroll - only the main content scrolls. Again - doesn't make sense at all.
Your support - while I understand the holiday thing (we have them here, too), you are running a business. And your customers sometimes need a help as soon as possible - because they work for own their clients. And it is just not acceptable to wait for a rather simple solution for such a long time. I've never been through such problems with any other developer/theme/website in the last five years. I work as a designer and my clients don't care whether it is holiday or weekend or my own birthday. If needed I have to work all the time. That's unfortunately the problem with a business like this.
I would still like to receive a refund - let me know how to proceed.
Thank you.
David
Hello,
It seems to be working right now.
However - I would like to ask you for a refund. I am not able to work with your theme under these conditions.
There are many problems I am encountering as not being able to see all the pages the way they will look on the finished site & not able to see all the Candidate backend, for example. Please see my topics on your ThemeForest's Discussions.
It is also not possible for me to wait over a week for your support to fix such a trivial problem as the header settings etc. I had to let my client wait for a week for the very first website check/presentation and I still had to present it with the header not fixed.
I am very worried how it might go in the future - and although I've paid for the year-long support it is just not acceptable under these conditions.
Please let me know if I should proceed through the ThemeForest Refund Request page or not.
Thank you for understanding.
Regards,
DavidHello.
Still not fixed.
Check the enclosed images - in Customizer everything seems to be fine with new accent color for the hover links.
Yet on the real site the main color is still yours - the yellow one.
I've cleared the caches like million times and tried it in both Safari and Chrome.

You must be logged in to view attached files.Well, social links is not my main concern.
It is the logo and the main navigation bar.
Check the screenshots - my logo is 250x44px - in Customizer it shows correctly but on the live page it's totally messed up and pixelated and blown up.
Social links - I've got only 2 of them. Surprisingly they show up on the right side (correctly) on live web but in the Customizer I still see 4 of them. And I still see your Hotline phone although I've changed it already to my own.
And the navigation menu font is still wrong! I've got Montserrat chosen but not all caps.
I don't believe I'm having trouble with such a basic things. It never happened to me before and I'm running 10 webs on 8 different themes.
Good thing I've paid for 1 year support because - unfortunately - it seems I'm going to need it.
