Hello, I translated the POT file, created another "languages" folder in the child theme and uploaded the PO and MO files inside of that. I don't know how to modify the function.php file to load those translation files.
Can you help me? It's urgent...
Regards

The text domain is "noo" instead of "noo-jobmonster".
Please check again.

4 years, 8 months ago #1085419Hello, how do I know the text domain?
By the way, the website is still not translated. Can you help me? In the blog section, for example, words like "under" and "by" related to the author, are not translated, but I did it in the PO and MO files.
One more thing: should I always put the POT file in the languages folder?
Thank you
4 years, 8 months ago #1085467Hi,
- Text domain: you go to style.css of Jobmonster:
- If you use the Plugin to translate directly on the site, you need to add the POT file to the language folder.
- After finishing translate you need to go to Settings -> General -> Language -> set Italia instead of English
You can send me some screenshots where text translate doesn't work.
Best regards,
tb.
4 years, 8 months ago #1085550Thanks for the info.
I'm not using any plugin, I used POEdit to translate and compile PO and MO files.
From what I see my site is not being translated, since I translated the strings "under" and "by" in Italian, but I still see English. See the picture attached.Attachments:

Please use Poedit and translate for plugin "Jobmonster Addon". Later reload your site and try again.
4 years, 8 months ago #1085810Sorry I don't understand. Can you explain with some details?
4 years, 8 months ago #1085929Hello, I really need to translate my website, I'm still waiting for some info. I already translated many of the strings in the POT file and have compiled PO and MO files. But the translation is not working.
4 years, 8 months ago #1085985Hi,
If you use the Elementor plugin to builder page.
To translate the above text: you need to use Poedit and translate "Jobmonster Addon" plugin instead of Theme.
After the translation is complete, please save the file .PO, .MO following this path:
/wp-content/languages /plugins/
4 years, 8 months ago #1086017Any problems when updating my website using this method?
Thanks
4 years, 8 months ago #1086018Sorry but in the Jobmonster Add-on plugin there's no POT file to translate. What exactly should I translate?
4 years, 8 months ago #1086058Hi,
Sorry for the issue.
You can unzip the attachment to /plugins/jobmonster-addon/languages/
Later, you can translate for it.

With the button text: you can change here: http://prntscr.com/rfnjpt
- You named the file incorrectly in the syntax of WordPress:
is it_IT.mo, it_IT.po not it-IT.mo, it-IT.po
Please reload your site and check again.
Best regards,
tb.
4 years, 8 months ago #1086144Oh! Sorry for that, thank you for your help! I changed the file name and it works!
There are still some strings missing translation, check the picture. Where can I find them? And also similar ones in similar pages...

It has been included in the noo.pot file. You can translate with Poedit.
4 years, 8 months ago #1086159But in this case is not the noo.pot file for the "jobmonster-addon" plugin, right? I can't find those strings in the file you sent me yesterday and the translation files I added in the "languages" folder of the child theme never worked!
4 years, 8 months ago #1086172Yes, it is a file from the Theme.
4 years, 8 months ago #1086173Ok, now everything works! Thanks for your help!
