Hello,
Let me start by saying thank you for all the assistance you have provided me lately! It really has helped me progress with my project. Thank you!
There seems to be an issue with the Google Maps starting point. Before I add an address for a company, Google Maps is showing a random place in China. However, according to the longitude and latitude I typed in Job Monster -> Location -> "Starting Point Latitude" and "Starting Point Longitude" (37.0902° N, 95.7129° W), it should start in the middle of the United States. How would I be able to fix this issue? I have included screenshots of the coordinates in WordPress as well as the location that is displayed.
Thank you in advance!
Jakub

3 years, 10 months ago #1204298Hello,
When I copy pasted your coordinates into JobMonster, it still brought me to China. Also, the original latitude and longitude I entered (37.0902° N, 95.7129° W) displays the United States on the Google Maps website, but it displays China in my website. It seems that JobMonster is not taking into account the directions associated with the latitude and longitude (north, south, east, west).
After some research, I found I have to put a negative sign on the longitude to change it from east to west. The coordinates I inputted were (37.0902, -95.7129) and this worked.
Thank you for your time and help!
Jakub
