Hello,
You have a decent search function but there's one huge problem and that is. let's say someone searches for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it only shows properties with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It should actually show all listings with 2 bedrooms and above and 2 bathrooms and above. So even 3, 4,5,6 ....MAX bedroom number in the listings should show.
Can you please help me fix this?

Thanks for contacting us.
As you can see, we only support to show 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms if you query to show them. We are so sorry but we cannot support to show all listings or above 2 as your desired. Because, it doesn't correct according to the query.
In addition, for example you have chosen to show 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. What Palazzo website can be shown?
Thanks for your understanding.
Best Regards,

5 years, 10 months ago #1066516Hello Tracy,
But that should be very easy to optimize. you can check any search function which contains bedrooms.. you take Airbnb for example.. When someone selects 2 bedrooms, it should show all listings with 2 bedrooms and above. basically I want the search to pull all categories equal to or greater than the selected number.
so let's say I have property listings with minimum bedrooms as 1 and max as 9. And if i select number of bedroom field in the search as 6, then it should show all listings with 6,7,8,9 bedrooms. Am I making sense?

Thanks for your feedback.
In your opinion, when searching for 2 bedrooms, the result should be displayed 2 bedrooms and more. exactly?
So the question is that user searches for 3 bedrooms, the result should show 3 bedrooms and more, right?
If yes, we think it is not convenient for your visitors. Lets us know your solution about it.
We will consider adding in our theme as soon as possible.
Thank you.

Can you know how I can make the bedrooms field a range slider like the area field?

Thanks for getting back to us.
We are really sorry for late response because we need much time to discuss with our developer.
In this case, Palazzo doesn't support this feature yet but we can customize to help you with an extra fee.
Please consider then feedback us again.
Thank you.

5 years, 10 months ago #1067129Hmm that's disappointing. It must be very easy to fix when all I have asked for is to make the bedroom field a range slider field. You already have the area field which is also a custom field with range slider so I'm guessing its just a few mins of work.
Anyways, please let me know how much I have to pay to get this done and how I will have to pay you.

Posts: 3295This reply has been marked as private.5 years, 10 months ago #1067180That's very pricey. I really cannot afford that.. 🙁
But can you ask your developer this please:
When the search loads the results, I just want the properties to be loaded just with bedrooms greater than or equal to the value selected. So basically, when someone has selected 1 bedroom, it will show all properties with one bedroom or higher. This is how all popular property websites work.
That's why I was asking for a range slider, so that we can load the properties in the selected range. So can't you change the search loop to show "greater than or equal to" the selected value?
