Can we make this required?
I see that another buyer asked for this feature 3 years ago, it was supposed to be in progress??
About 1 in 30 users add a profile photo. Not only is it not required but the option to change "profile image" is hidden at the bottom.
Most websites/apps allow users to click on the profile photo to change, or there is a small button to update photo next to the image. This would be much more user friendly!
4 years ago #1209165Sorry, because the theme is support a profile page and users can change profile pho to in that page, so, we're not support change user profile photo with action when click to photo
best regards.
4 years ago #1209199Please add function to make Profile Photo required in order to complete profile.
As mentioned previously, this function was requested in JobMonster support 3 years ago. Support said that they were working on it. Seems like 3 years is enough time to accomplish this task.
Also, profile photo option is hidden at the bottom of profile page. It should be located near the top next to username and email. Most new users do not even see the option to add profile photo!
4 years ago #1209213Dear, What is Jobmonster ? Your site use Jobmonster or Jobica theme ? Because i see you post in Jobica form, we're will add support require Candidate profile image for Jobica theme in next update version.
best regards.
4 years ago #1209223Hi, yes I do use Jobica.
Thank you for adding the update!
I only referenced JobMonster because Jobica is built on same template and has a lot of the same features.
4 years ago #1209464Was this added to the Jobica Core Update? I don't see the option to require a profile photo but maybe I am missing something.
4 years ago #1209482Dear, Please update Jobica Theme on your site to latest version 1.2.9 and go to admin menu 'Appearance -> Install Plugins' to update all plugin includes in theme.
Then add custom code in theme's file functions.php to require candidate profile image.
add_filter('noo_candidate_require_profile_image', '__return_true');
Best regards.

3 years, 11 months ago #1210020Dear, your problem still not resolved ? Please kindly check again.
3 years, 11 months ago #1210240Still not resolved. The last 10 candidates have uploaded resumes and do not have a profile photo: https://gigsharks.com/resumes/
3 years, 11 months ago #1210350Your sure the Candidate is upload profile photo ? Maybe they're create account and not edit profile. Because i create new user 'candidate12' in admin then login with 'candidate12' and check profile page, the 'Profile Image' is require. please check your site again.
Best regards.
3 years, 11 months ago #1210411Of course they created an account and did not edit their profile. Why would any user go back to edit a profile?
If a photo is required then they should not be able to advance to post a resume without first posting that photo.
I have already enabled "require completed profile before completing resume". With this logic it should be impossible to add a resume without adding a profile photo - assuming that you are telling the truth when you say that a profile picture is now required!
DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?
DO YOU UNDERSTAND SIMPLE LOGIC?
This should not be a 20 comment thread. It's insane that it is this difficult to communicate with you. Anyone reading this - please request a refund for your theme before it's too late!
3 years, 11 months ago #1210492You think edit profile is waste time but want resume and profile display with perfect data and on Register form only username and email ? what is data to perfect ?
3 years, 11 months ago #1210493This reply has been marked as private.3 years, 10 months ago #1211420I like the theme but I have not been this frustrated in years. It seems we have a language barrier?
You have changed profile image to "required", but it's not actually requiring users to add a profile image before completing the profile.
Please look at my website again. Most new users don't have a profile image included. If it were truly required wouldn't they all have photos now?
3 years, 10 months ago #1211470Dear, Please kindly clearly: the Candidate Profile image require for candidate upload image, but candidate not upload, the Jobica will can't display candidate avatar and will use placeholder avatar.
Also. Please kindly delete Jobica Core old version on your site. then go to admin menu 'Appearance -> Install Plugins' and install/activate Jobica Core plugin again to get Jobica Core latest version 1.2.25.
The Jobica Core plugin latest version include check profile image in Candidate profile complete percent.
Best regards.
3 years, 10 months ago #1211548It appears we have a language barrier here.
In English, if something is "required", a user cannot proceed without it.
When you say profile picture is "required", that means there should be no default avatar because there is no option to complete a profile without a photo.
I have updated the theme already to current version.
3 years, 10 months ago #1211562Dear, Please clearly: the Profile Image required mean the Candidate will can't save/update profile page if the Profile Image is empty. And that required not control on page post reume.
Best regards.
