Hi
The live search doesn't seem to work correctly when using the By Location field with proximity
To begin with the live search doesn't take the correct address when choosing from the Google autocomplete list, it only takes part of the text that the user is typing before they made a selection, for example:
If the user wanted to search for jobs in London, and they began typing "Lond" before choosing an autocomplete option the live search would only search using what was typed ("Lond") and not the address that was chosen from the autocomplete
Another thing is when testing the live search seems to be a step behind when it comes to using this field as well and seems to show results for the previous search for example:
If the user has search results showing for "London" and the changes the location to "Manchester", the live search will refresh and nothing will change but then if they changed the location to "Glasgow" the live search would then show results for Manchester.
The live search seems to have multiple issues when it comes to this field and I am just wondering if there is any way to resolve this as the live search is a great feature and a great addition to the site
Thanks

Thank you for contacting us.
For the search by distance, we use the longitude and latitude to find the job near you.
First, the job address input needs to input the correct address to get the correct longitude and latitude.
Then when you input the address search, it will get the longitude and latitude by the address your input to calculate the job for the search. That is why your job search doesn't correct if you don't input the correct location.
Thanks.

So this field just doesnt't work with the live search because you have to click the search button for it to get the coordinates?
Thanks

yes, it needs to get the coordinates from the address input for the search. Do you want a live search when inputting the string to that field? It can't search with our incorrect address input.
Thanks.

Ideally yes we want the live search to work with this field, i.e get the coordinates in real time if possible
