Hello
I enabled job and resume alert, and configured my other candidate to receive email for all jobs, I posted more than 50 jobs, but still no job alert is sent to my candidate email. How can correct this error please?
Thanks
4 years, 4 months ago #1082555Hi,
- Firstly, you need to make sure that the mailing function works normally on your site.
- We use WP Cron for these 2 functions: When you create a Job Alert and set a time period (eg: 1 day) to activate the task. After that period of time (1 day from the time of Job Alert creation), if a user visits your site, this cron will be activated.
- You can use this plugin to manage cron on site:

Best regards,

I created a Job Alert to test. It seems that this function is still working properly.
You can test it by the following:
- Register a candidate account.
- Create a job alert (try to set Email Frequency -> Week or Month instead of Daily, Hour because your job is not post regularly).
- You go to Cron Event -> find to Job Alert ID -> click Run Now.
Best regards.
tb.
- Later check your email.
4 years, 3 months ago #1082894Thank you dear,
it is working, actually I figured it out what the problem was, we all listed a keyword and a job matching that key word was not posted, when I remove the keyword and leave it blank, I started receiving the alert.
Thanks!
Best!
