Hello 🙂
I can't change the email from the administrator. I change it under "Settings --> General". Do you know how to do that? can you please help me?
I enter the new one and save it. Below the field is the following message: "This address is used for administrative purposes. If you change it, you will receive an email to your new email address confirming the change. The new address will only be used after this confirmation."
Unfortunately, I don't get an email to confirm the new address.
This means that all admin emails (Jobmonster --> Email Templates --> Email Admin) will not arrive.
Since I don't have access to the e-mail from the admin (you can see a wrong one and it doesn't exist). but I am admin and owner of the site.
But the server sends e-mails. If I register as a candidate or employer then I receive mails.
via myphpadmin I have changed the e-mail address at the admin (user), but unfortunately this does not change the e-mail address in the general settings.
best greetings from Germany, I hope you can handle my horrible english 🙂

Because the email address in Setting General is administrator email. If you change it to another email, please make sure that this email address is registered on your website and this user will be displayed with Role Administrator.
After that, there is an email confirmation which arrived your email. Please check it.
You can check again, then feedback us.
Best Regards,

5 years, 8 months ago #1069447Hi ,
I've checked,
my user has the role of admin and the new email is deposited there (see attachment). i had to change the new email ([email protected]) directly in the database, because i had the same problem there before. the new email address also receives emails.
But what do you mean by registered on my website?
ther is no email confirmation which arrived my new email, i have checked.
Best Regards,

Thanks for your feedback.
First, we want to confirm some information:
1- Which does email exist on your website?
2- Which email do you want to change to?
Second, please give us your website's URL and admin account privately via checking Set as private reply checkbox. We will check it.
Best Regards,
NooTheme

Thanks for getting back to us.
We have got access to your website then tried to check your issue. After that, I have realized that it seems that your server cannot send a confirmation email. That's a reason why you cannot receive a confirmation email after changing.
In case, we also installed Easy SMTP plugin in your website, please go to Setting > Easy SMTP to configure it again. Then check your issue again.
Please check, then feedback us.
Best Regards,
