As the title says, I want to translate "Seach by candidate" placeholder text which are found on the application page ("/member/manage-application/") on the top right of the table. *Logged in as company.
Please find the attached as well.
In PO file, I only find "Search by Candidate Name" but not "Seach by candidate". Therefore I cannot translate it.
I want to avoid touching theme file so it would be great if you could let me know what I should do.
Thank you!2 months ago #1219339
I have checked the Manage Application page, it doesn't have the "Search by candidate" placeholder on the search form. https://prnt.sc/Ml9TeOXUNC1l
Can you give us the full layout of that page? We will help you check it again.
Thanks.2 months ago #1219346
Thank you for your support!
I attach the page. I removed my own PO file so it's all in English for you to see.
I have one more attachment for a similar or related topic. I could create a new ticket but let me share..
Is is found in the resume posting page for candidate. They are logged in and on "2" phase but the subtitle still says "Login or create an account".
It would be great if you could look into it.
Thank you again!2 months ago #1219350
This is not a placeholder it is more like a tooltip.
Not only for email but password as well as security captcha field all show
"Please fill out this field."
I couldn't take screenshot because the tooltip disappear so I took a picture instead..
I want to translate this section but not inside PO file2 months ago #1219352
I think other tooltip text for text input fields are the same.
For example for the section to upload resume file that says "no file chosen" when mouse is hover
I couldn't find inside PO string to translate...2 months ago #1219358
Sorry for adding a similar translation string issue here.
I found another one.
Please take a look at the attached.
No matching records found
(filtered from xxxx total entries)
The same output can be found following pages
It seems strange but the following pages seem fine.

Please give us your site URL, and admin account. We need to access your site and help you check it on your site.
Thanks.2 months ago #1219363
I would like to but at this stage, it is still in the local server.
Once it is remote, I will let you know but the site I am making is non-English site so it might be difficult to navigate...
Having said that, I appreciate it if you could just type the key phrase which I have brought up in POT file, you know it doesn't exist.
So you could start investigating it by yourself without looking at my site as well.1 month, 4 weeks ago #1219379This reply has been marked as private.1 month, 3 weeks ago #1219395
For the "No matching records found" string, that is the string in the datatables script, not in the language file. So you can change that string in the file: wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/assets/vendor/DataTables/datatables.min.js line 11730.
For the "About us" you can find that string in our language file: /wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/languages/noo.pot line 13070. Maybe you are using the en_us file language. That doesn't have that string in the en_us file.
Please recheck it.

Thank you for your support!!
The thread is getting messy so I re-organize it.
1. Search by candidate >> SOLVED after merging update from POT file
2. No matching records found (filtered from xxxx total entries) >> SOLVED after text update in datatables.min.js
3. Login Text >>> NOT ADDRESSED
4. Please fill out this field TEXT >>> NOT ADDRESSED
It would be great if you could follow up #3 and 4.1 month, 3 weeks ago #1219415
4. This is the default required message of the HTML 5 input field. You can follow this topic to change that message.
3. We have changed the source code at file: /wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/framework/functions/noo-utilities.php line 611 to help you change the sub-heading for the post resume page.
Please recheck it.

Thank you very much.
#4 >> Yes it is working as intended now
#3 >> I learned that this is browser language dependent so I will ignore. I use English OS and anyone who use Japanese environment output Japanese.
