A cache is a collection of data that is temporarily stored for quick access on demand. In computers, information is usually stored on a hard disk. When required, a computer needs to run some processes before the information is displayed.

When you clear the cache the website has an error. You will need to find the cause of the error and fix it.
Data only loses when you delete from database. When you clear the cache, it will not affect the data from the database.
