This widget should not include hard coded "For" before the status. Everywhere in the app you are using just status without "For" in pretext.

Please find For%s in our language file, then you can edit it as your desire. In addition, please use Loco Translate plugin to translate it.
You can check, then feedback us.
Best Regards.

5 years, 8 months ago #1071374Hi Tracy,
I was able to find and change "For %s" and make it "%s" in widgets/citilights_widgets.php:105
However, before doing that I was trying to change it in noo.pot by inserting into
msgid "For %s" msgstr "%s" and it did not work.
I also installed Loco Translate and created en_US.po to change msgid "For %s" msgstr "%s" and it did not worked for me again.
May be I'm missing something?
Anyway, for now this issue is fixed, but could you please provide steps how can I prevent my change in citilights_widgets.php not to be overwritten with the next update or may be I still can do Loco text overwrite in order to remove "For" from the widget?
Thank you

Thanks for your feedback.
That's very strange but we think that there was a little issue when translating. In case you should write your file to a child theme. Because it will be saved when updating our theme. Moreover, we also attached a Child-Theme package in our package on ThemeForest, you can install it and google it how to use.

5 years, 7 months ago #1071452Even though there is a way to fix this issue on case by case basis, are you planning to provide a fix in your software for future releases that removes "For" before the Status Name for this widget?

Please check it again.
Thanks.
5 years, 6 months ago #1073374Thank you very much for this trick, I've tested it on my working site and it works just great. Now I know how to use it in order to work around some text issues.
