Hey there, I have trouble understanding how the Map Search is supposed to work.
http://wp.nootheme.com/jobmonster/search-map-home/
Once I enter a city or any other search term in the search fields and hit enter the map does not reload but redirects to http://wp.nootheme.com/jobmonster/?post_type=noo_job&s=
Is there another search form to be used with the map? Like a split screen that is used in most other jobboards? (See attached)
Hopefully I just missed sometimes.

Currently this function is not available in the theme and thank you for good idea. We will study and add it in the upcoming version
Thank you 🙂
5 years, 3 months ago #1078139Oh ok this is bad news as you advertise Map search and the DEMO Page has a map page also 🙁 Hopefully you can add this soon. There are many new job board themes this year and they all come with a user friendly map search.

Sorry, we just support the advanced search with map shortcode, we don't support the job map archive.
We will check it and bring that feature to our theme in the next time.
Thanks.
5 years, 3 months ago #1078164Hey Jackie, can you clarify what that means? "we just support the advanced search with map shortcode"
We have put a lot of time in getting the theme running and now it was a big surprise that the map search site is only eye candy/dummy but does not work.
Best wishes!
5 years, 3 months ago #1078404Again: "We have put a lot of time in getting the theme running and now it was a big surprise that the map search site is only eye candy/dummy but does not work." What are your plans here for the near future? The Map search is not working at all - still it is advertised. Or am I using it wrong?

We would like to repeat. We have a map function search, you can go to the menu "Jobmonster - Settings - Location" to install and search like as demo.
Also the function "Search" like "apusthemes.com" and "jobboard.inwavethemes.com" are 2 different functions, We will study and supplement.
Thank you!
5 years, 3 months ago #1078560Please send me the link to the demo page where I can use the map search. There is a page with a map on top (
http://wp.nootheme.com/jobmonster/search-map-home/ ) but no chance you can perform a search on this page as it is leading away from the map page to the standard search page once you use the search form. So it doesnt work for me at this point.5 years, 3 months ago #1078586

Your mean: Send you a single page in which you can search with map. The map shown above, and below display jobs found.
Thank you!
5 years, 3 months ago #1078644Sorry I did not understand what you just said! I did explain my questions multiple times now - whats the problem here now? AGAIN:
You advertise a map search form and in your demo it is this page: http://wp.nootheme.com/jobmonster/search-map-home/ But it does NOT work. Once you search you are redirected to another page!
Jackie said: "Sorry, we just support the advanced search with map shortcode" -> What does that mean? Is there another way to search with the map?

I'm really sorry, I understand what you mean: a map searching is manipulation on the map (zoning, selecting locations, ...). However, here we search with maps, it is search by locations.
Example: You want to search jobs in afghanistan. You select "Job Locations" - afghanistan (attachment 1). You will be redirect to a page, which contains list jobs (attachment 2).
