I need for resume and job search possibility to search according a specific address with a specific radius ==>GEOLOCATION
you wrote me once that this feature will be implemented soon, but still I have no answer

We also discussed with our developer about your question but they didn't find the best solution yet.
As you know, Jobmonster is a basic job's website. Therefore we will consider adding a new feature to it if there are more than 5 customers require it.
For your question, we will continue to consider adding to Jobmonster theme as soon as possible.

In the forum other people also asked for this feature and nowadays every modern platform with search ability offers a GEOLOCATION feature!
in my pre sale question you told me that you will add this feature or that you will support me to show my developer how to add it!! This feature is a must
as you can see, other users are also complaining! this is a must have feature. Without this feature, it doesnt make sense

We noted this feature in our tasks but we need much time to solve each task. Because we have many tasks including bugs and features so we cannot make it immediately.

We have bought the theme and we dont see a chance to launch the site to public without the possibility to search within a radius. Also the way a User can add a City is not good. It is created without any check, people can create khasjkhadshjkda as a city or spelling mistakes like "city, City, Citi, Citti" for the same location. At this point you can feel, that this theme was created without any real life experience in the Job market :-/
Hopefully this basic core function will be delivered soon.

1- We also support to search by Distance, you can go to your page, then open Advanced Search shortcode, choose Custom Field: By Distance, you will have distance option on your search. Please see this image: https://prnt.sc/n5o8vg
2- You can go to JM Jobmonster > Custom Fields > Jobs> job_location: Multiple Location instead. See this image: https://prnt.sc/n5o9er

Hey there, thanks for the reply. Can you explain this further?
1.) I have set the distance field - however how does it work? The Location field is a text field isnt it? How is the distance calculated? Is it using the zip code? So what field do I have to choose next to the distance field?
2.) This doesnt solve the problem - now people cannot add locatios anymore. People should be able to create a location, however there is a need of a validation like with google maps input so that people create a valid unique location. Cant the field be something like a google maps input field with a validation?

Ok I have to update that in the DEMO I see a maps field with google auto complete. In my Page it is not there. Do I need another API Service? I have maps, places & java script API active.
Still the Job Location Field is a pure text field. Is there no way it can be populated from the adress field? Just extract the City from the google field.
Is the GEO location feature only working for jobs or also for resume search?! I need it for resume search!!

What about the GEO location feature for resume page? Is it only working for jobs or also for resume search?! I need it for resume search!!
Hi again.
With the Search by distance, we use your location and return the job in radius as you select. Example, it will calculate and return the jobs in 5, 10 kilometers. To use that featured, you need to enable HTTPS on your server. And allow sharing your location.
The search by a distance just works with Jobs listing, not the resume.

The job location using to filter the job by the country, city. To enable the full address with map picker as our demo, please go to JobMonster/ Settings/ Custom Fields/ Job/ and change Map Picker field type for full_address field. https://prnt.sc/n66p8n
It will allow mapping select and auto address complete for Address field.

Visitor Location by browser DetectionRadius by Job Address (google autocomplete) would be the most wanted by Visitors.
