Hi,
I'm still preparing to update our heavily customised live site to the latest theme version. I'm 99% of the way ready, but I've noticed that on Resumes not all fields are saving when a Resume is added or edited. Interestingly, the same isn't happening for Post a Job.
There's also no pattern, i.e it's not just custom fields - some default fields are not saving and some custom fields are saving, and it isn't specific to a field type, i.e it's not just multi-select fields or just checkboxes. However, text fields don't appear to be affected.
Any advice or pointers would be gratefully received! 🙂
Many thanks!

4 years, 8 months ago #1085183I've just done some further testing, the issue is specific to multi-select options and checkboxes, everything else is saving.

4 years, 8 months ago #1085290Hi,
We have released 1 update. You can go to Dashboard -> Update -> update it.
4 years, 8 months ago #1085851Hi,
I've updated to 4.6.0.5 but the select and multi-select fields are still not being saved in Resumes. It isn't saving them when you go into preview, so if you go back to edit the resume the fields are empty again. It also isn't displaying pictures uploaded to the Resume.

You try to create a field in the jobmonster settings -> resume, then you go into any resume and fill in the field, go to Customize -> job & company -> job list -> show field as in the image and go outside the screen to see if it shows up? https://prnt.sc/reoi1v

Yes it shows up in the resume list.

4 years, 8 months ago #1086296No candidates can add these fields when they add their Resume at the front end, even if they are required fields. It's all very well being able to add the in the back end as Admin, how do we get the form usable for visitors to the front end?
4 years, 8 months ago #1086325Hi,
Thanks for contacting us.Â
i'm sorry but currently jobmonster does not have that function

4 years, 8 months ago #1086963With respect, of course JobMonster has the function of candidates filling in the Add Resume form at the front end?? Including select, multi-select and checkbox fields! On my website, the answers they provide via select, multi-select and checkbox fields are saving to the database but not displaying on their Resume for Companies to see. This is my problem. Can anyone assist in rectifying this, please?
Many thanks.

4 years, 8 months ago #1087058Hi,
- First of all you need to make sure you are using the latest version (4.6.0.5).
- Custom fields all have a view permission option: you should set public for this field.
If it is unsuccessful, please send me link your site and wp admin account.
I will help you check.
Best regards,
tb.

Thank you so much. It looks like the issue lays somewhere in my Child Theme. I'll carry on investigating!
