When I click on Print Resume option (whether as a candidate or as an employer) what it does is basically prints the web page. Because of this the format looks very bad. It also takes unnecessary space while displaying education and work experience sections. We do not expect very fancy format, but at least it should be neat and good enough to print and share with an employer.
PDF Format: Many users do not know how to select print option and from printer selection select print as PDF file. So ideally, the Print option should be changed to Download. Once the file is downloaded the user can do whatever he or she wants, print or email.
and the format should be seriously reconsidered. It honestly looks horrible. I will send you one such PDF resume in next private message.
