Please see the attached image. As of now on Jobs page each job summary is displayed in a paragraph. This paragraph has various Job fields separated by some space. This can get difficult for the candidates to understand as there is no title for each field (except for custom fields).
Also this means that a particular field may not appear at the same location for each job. For example the Job Category will appear at different location within the paragraph. This becomes difficult for candidates viewing the job listing.
Can we have a predefined format for each field to appear at a location - as shown in the image? This will make the job listing standardized and very easy to read.

Posts: 55Apart from the previous message, is it possible to have an icon for each job field (similar to Job Type)? This can also help in reading the paragraph easily to find a specific info. Please see the attached image.
5 years, 5 months ago #1079538Hi,
If you want to change the position of Job meta, you need to go to the "job-template.php" file (\wp-content\themes\noo-jobmonster\framework\job\) and custom the function "jm_the_job_meta".
- Add Icon: you go to Jobmonster Setting -> Custom Field -> Job tab -> Add icon for Field.
Best regards,

Thanks for your quick reply. As of now I am trying to manage by adding the field icons.
However, just below change will help arrange the description in job listing.
As of now the description of the job in the job listing appear as below:
Job Type - Job Location - Publish Date - Expiry Date - Job Category - (and then custom fields as selected in customizer)
So an Accounts Manager job in a bank , having job type as Accounts Dept will appear as below
Accounts Manager
<> Accounts Dept <> Mumbai <> September 20, 2019 - November 30, 2019 <> Banking <> Sub Location <> Salary
Actually Job Category is the main field of job. Can we display Job Category first and then the remaining fields. So the above Job will look like below
Accounts Manager
<> Banking <> Accounts Dept <> Mumbai <> September 20, 2019 - November 30, 2019 <> Sub Location <> Salary
If the above can be done as default in the theme it will help.
