when I change the status of the application from the admin dashboard the status appears inactive?
any idea why?
Dear, the status inactive like trash application and only Candidate can see it. It not appears for Employer.

is it possible to make the email template send an email to the employer rather than the candidate?
Your mean: send email when Job Application is Interview ? Why you want send for Employer ? Because I think Candidate should receive email notice when application change to Interview by Employer.

Mean: You want send email notice for Employer when change application in admin ? Sorry, in current version not support any hook action when change Employer in admin, we're will add support hook 'noo_application_admin_save_post' it in next update version
