When I insert footer background image it does not cover all footer space, but 3/4 of it, leaving contact information unaffected. Please see the attachment.
If I remove the background image, the theme will have default image across the width of footer, as it supposed to be.

Thanks for contacting us.
In footer position, please add a small image (avatar) with size under 100x100 page. Currently, you uploaded a large image to the footer, it won't logic.
Please check it again.
Thank you.

5 years, 6 months ago #1074095Sorry, but the small avatar (80x40) does not work for the background image, you will see that the background image just shrink. (see attachment).
It looks more like I have to load a bigger size, which is not really good as it will add unnecessary loading time because of the size of the image, but if worse comes to worst I can do it.
Please let me know how you want me to proceed.

I would like that someone else from your team reviewed this communication and assessed if you handle properly this issue and communication.
Thank you
5 years, 6 months ago #1074268Hi again.
As I see, Tracy has helped you make the footer background image cover all of your footer.
Please check it and let us know again if you still need the help.
Thanks.
5 years, 6 months ago #1074288Hi Jackie,
Tracy solution is not working as the image by default is not scalable and the design was done not up to the standards. With different browsers, zooms, mobile views that image will be all over the place.
I do not see how I can use this feature without having a negative impact on my users, so I removing the footer background image altogether.
If down the road you will change your mind and will fix your software please let me know.
Best Regards,
Simon

Unfortunately after removing background image from customizing footer you still have some default image displayed.
Please remove your default image from my site, as it does not fit the design intend.
Thank you,
Simon

Please give us the Admin access for that account. Maybe you have changed the account permission.
Thanks.
5 years, 6 months ago #1074542Hi Jackie,
I found the file noo-citilights/assets/images/bg-footer.png and removed it.
I'm not sure why it is part of the default setup, but it was easy to remove.
Even though I stopped using Footer Background Image altogether, I hope in the future you will fix the formatting issue.
Best Regards,
Simon
5 years, 6 months ago #1074564Yes. That is the default footer background image. But you also can change that image via the customizer/ Footer/ Footer background image.
We will add the CSS to always make the background image cover style.
Thanks.
5 years, 6 months ago #1074569Sounds great, I will wait for the next release and update the footer background image.
Thank you for your time,
Simon
