Hi,
When I look at the demo for hiring home http://wp.nootheme.com/jobmonster/hiring-home/ the header section looks a lot different than the development site at http://www.bigmouth.digital/rutledgerecruitment/ with the hiring home and demo content installed. The hero section is not full height and the search and icons are squashed up at the top.
One other question, how do I change the post a job button to 'Upload Your CV'?
Thanks,
Andrew4 years, 8 months ago #1086684Hi,
Thanks for contacting us.
1. I think you haven't set the Image Height and Search Form Top Position options in the advanced search widget https://prnt.sc/rkwbjp
2. I'm sorry I'm not sure what you meant, do you mean you want to change the text or change the post a job function -> upload your cv. I see you've changed post a job -> post a resume (same upload your cv).
Best Regards,
NooTheme
4 years, 8 months ago #1089221Hi,
This was your reply on the comments section now that the forum is working again:
Ok, we have a few update, you can currenlty use forum.
1, You are sure that you are using the latest version of the theme (4.6.0.5). DONE AND SORTED THANKS
2, The “Post a Job” function is for Employer users only. “Post a Resume” will be applied to Candidate users. Why you don’t use the function “Post a Resume” but change “Post a Job” to “Upload your CV”? HOW DO I DO THIS SO THE HEADER SHOWS THE POST A RESUME BUTTON BUT I NEED IT TO SAY 'POST YOUR CV'.
Thanks,
Andrew4 years, 8 months ago #1089225Hi,
One other thing, with the mobile view of the search I have cloned it and set one to show in desktop with a height that works fine and with mobile only the icons are showing overlaping the search facility even though I have changed the height in order to get it displaying ok.
What do I need to do to sort this, I have attached how it looks on mobile devices currently.
Thanks,
Andrew4 years, 8 months ago #1089475Hi,
Jobmonster supports 2 types of users: Employer (Post a job) and Candidate (Post a resume). When a user registers they will have to choose a "employer" or "candidate" role to be able to use the functionality that corresponds to that role. The website will help connect them to each other.
- So to use the "Post a Resume" function, you must first log in as "Candidate".
- To change "Post a Resume" to "Post your CV" -> You can use the Loco Translate plugin.
https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners
You click to "New language" -> select English
After completing the setup, you can update the text above.
Best regards,
tb.

You can add these lines to style.css of Child Theme:
@media(max-width: 991px){.noo-job-category.style-slider{
position: static!important;
}
}
4 years, 8 months ago #1089568Thank you for answering my queries.
Is there anyway of changing that call to action button in the header to any button and link that I would like to change it to, e.g. Call us Today or something of that nature that then could take the visitor to a page of my choice? The site is only for people applying for jobs and does not need to have the employer facility as my client is a recruitment company who upload their jobs themselves.
Thanks,
Andrew4 years, 8 months ago #1089584Hi,
You can send me a screenshot of the button you want to change.
4 years, 8 months ago #1089589Thank you,
I have attached it to this message and it is the button in the header area right hand side.
Thanks,
Andrew4 years, 8 months ago #1089847Hi,
Jobmonster does not have this option. If you want to add a custom button, you can use the custom link in Menu.
