Hello,
When I create a job from the back end of WordPress, the closing date displays "Equal to Expired Date" instead of displaying the actual expiration date. I have attached an image for reference. Is there a way I can display the expiration date instead?
Thank you in advance,
Jakub

4 years, 5 months ago #1204299Hello,
I do not see an area to enter a "Closing Date" in the back end of the website. I have checked the "Quick Edit" area and the "Edit" area of the Jobs panel, and in both there is no "Closing Date". The only similar characteristic I can find is the "Job's Expiration Date," but changing this does not affect the Closing Date on the front end. I have attached images for reference. Is there a way to edit the closing date that I am not seeing?
Thank you in advance,
Jakub

4 years, 5 months ago #1204333Hello,
I have enabled the Closing Date field on the custom fields page, but the issue was not fixed. The jobs still display "Equal to Expiration Date" instead of actually showing that date.

4 years, 5 months ago #1204334The closing date has a detail saying, "If left blank, will automatically get the Job's Expiration Date." However, it seems JobMonster is not setting the closing date equal to the expiration date. It seems it is just leaving it blank.
4 years, 5 months ago #1204353Dear, you active 'Closing Date field' but you add Closing Date value for Job ? Please go to edit job and add Closing Date value then check your site again. If it still not work, please kindly send for me admin account your site and your site URL via private reply,i will check details to help you.

4 years, 5 months ago #1204356Hello,
If I type in a date for the Closing Date, it does work. However, it seems the detail that says, "Set the Apply for Job expiry date. If left blank, will automatically get the Job's Expiration Date" is misleading. Some employers will not type anything in for the closing date because they will think the expiration date will transfer to the closing date. Is there a way that if the employer does not enter a date, the closing date will display the expiration date? Right now, if no closing date is entered, the job displays "Equal to expired date" instead of the actual expiration date.
