Hey!
I used a advanced search Widget on the company page. Therefore I created a new field, (company-type), so that I can filter the companies.
The problem is, that not all companies are shown after filtering, although they have a company type.
Example: I have 4 Hospitals on my page. When I want to show hospitals only, there are only 2 hospitals shown. Same with other filters.
I already cleared the cache, but it does not work.
Do you have a solution for it?

Currently location only filters by ID and does not distinguish parent Location and sub location.
If a hospital belongs to "Kiel", you need to select the location "Deutschland and Kiel" => Filter will work.
Best regards,
tb.
5 years, 1 month ago #1079700But i created custom fileds on the company-profile. I can't select a parent- or subcategory.
The Filter comes up in the advanced search widget, but the fileds do not work correctly:
- I have 6 "krankenhaus" (Hospitals) listed als companies.
- when i want to show "Krankenhaus", there are only shown two of them. Of course, the other companies have chosen this custom field as well.
- when i want to change to display all companies with this filter, there are only shown 3 of all companies.
I think the customfield and the filter do not work correctly - why? Any solution?

When I use two widgets for advanced company search, it works. But: why is it not possible to choose "show all locations" in the search widget?
I HAVE TO choose a location, and of course, he will not find a hospital in Berlin, when there is no hospital. But I want to display EVERY HOSPITAL on on EVERY Location, without chosing a location. If a candidate wants to search for hospitals and it's not important to him, where they are, he can't do it.
It is a bug or does this function not exist?
5 years, 1 month ago #1079746Hi,
I updated some code lines to the "wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/framework/member/company-default-fields.php". (This custom content will be lost when you update the theme. You should save the attached file below, in case you update the theme)
Please reload your site and check again.
Best regards,

The custom Search filed is working now, thanks a lot!
But the location field has only 3 entries, although I have much more locations. Now that field doesn't work correctly. And: If I chose a location out of the 3 possibilities (e.g. Bremerhaven) and a Hospital out my customfield below, he's not finding any matches, although there is 1 Hospital in Bremerhaven.
So the 2 fields do not work togehter correctly, only the custom field is working correctly. Sorry :/
Kind regards!
5 years, 1 month ago #1080005Hi,
You should select the type "Multi Select" for this field.

5 years, 1 month ago #1080638No, it does not work.
When I choose "Hospital" (=Krankenhaus), then only 2 are shown. But I have MORE than 2 Hospitals on my jobboard. The Search does not work! And a "Multi-Select" is not, what I want. Because I want to categorize the Companies with only 1 option and not 2 or more options.
So, what should we do now?
5 years ago #1080747Hi,
I'm not sure about this issue.
