Hello,
I'm having an issue when i'm trying to post 2 (or more) jobs with the same title. The new one will have /jobs/job-title and the old one will have /jobs/job-title__trashed. For posts and pages there are no issue when i'm posting same titles...
I found someone else who summed up well the situation:
New Job Post with same title overwrites the old slug with trashed
Sample below:3rd post Tile: (Programmer) Slug: /jobs/programmer/
2nd post Title: (Programmer) Slug: /jobs/programmer__trashed/
1st post Title: (Programmer) Slug: /jobs/programmer___trashed/Is it possible to add job's id to the url to avoid the __trashed url problem?
Thanks!

We also checked this issue on our website carefully then realized that this is the default of WordPress when you created 2 posts with the same title. Therefore, you need to edit the second post which has a _trashed link then change the slug to get rid of this issue.
Thank you.

5 years, 6 months ago #1077080Hi,
Unfortunatly my client will not have access to the back-end, only to the employer dashboard. So he won't be able to change the slug...
There are really no solutions for this huge problem?...
Thanks for your help.

Because this is the default of WordPress when you create 2 posts with the same name. Therefore, we haven't found the solution for this issue yet. However, we think that none of the employer who posts the same title at the same time so you don't need to care about this situation.
Thanks for your understanding.
