Hello,
On our website (https://www.a-flex.nl/vacatures/), we are using the Employer frontend of our website to add jobs.
Everything is fine, except the job location:It can only be picked up in the list already defined in the taxonomy of job locations.
So, for 1 job, we have:
Job address: We can freely enter a full address that shows well on the map
Job location: only from a list, and so, impossible to have the right cities in the search box dropdown "job location".
In the example attached, you can see a job showing in the city of Venlo on the map with the Job Address, but only categorised in the Netherlands for the Job Location, as the city of Venlo is not in the Taxonomy.
How can we enter the Job Location in the Employer frontend?
I guess this is also the field used by job boards when syncing data?
Thank you.Attachments:

Thank you for contacting us, and sorry for the late response.
You can enable the option to allow input of the location when submitting a new job at the front-end. Please go to Jobmonster/ Custom fields/ Job tab and select "Single Location with Input" for the job_location field.
When you enable that option, everyone can submit a new job location. Please consider enabling that option.
Regards.
2 weeks, 6 days ago #1222818Hi Jackie,
Thank you for sharing this setting. It almost solves the issue:
Now, we can add locations from the frontend. However, the box for entering the location does not allow associating a parent location. As a result, as we have multiple countries, a new location will appear in the live website outside its respective country, at the same level as other countries. (see screenshot)
Then, the result is- CountryA
- CityA1
- CityA2- Country B
- CityB1
- CityB2- CityA3
Is it possible to select a parent when adding a location in the frontend?

Please provide us with your FTP account. I need to edit the source code to help you add the Parent option when adding a new location from the front-end. https://prnt.sc/E1buEkbKvAzW
I can't use the WP File manager plugin to edit the source code.
