Hi codemaster,
I want to make the "Introduce Yourself (Optional) field" from profile appear on candidate's resume.
I added some test in your biographical info (WP default) in user information on my test site. I noticed you created one as a candidate using your email address. This biographical info appears in candidate profile page as "Introduce Yourself (optional)" for personal introduction but it doesn't appear in his/her personal resume although other fields such as phone number, email address, DOB etc are displayed on the resume. As this field is optional for candidate to fill in. It doesn't hurt outputting it onto the resume IMO.
I can add new biographical info using noo monster custom field but I want to utilize what is there already.
It would be great if you solve this for me.Thank you Jackie.
2 years, 1 month ago #1219453Hi.
Thank you for contacting us.
We have checked your site and helped you change the source code to get the candidate description to display on the resume page.
If the resume doesn't have a description, it will get the description from the profile.
Please recheck it.
Thanks.
2 years, 1 month ago #1219455Thanks a lot Jackie, I checked and the descripiton was output! However, it would be great if you could tell me which file you modified (to make it happen) so that I can upload the file to my other site. As I told you the site you are looking at is only for you to test. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Also please note (from other thread but related), when you press "PRINT" icon, hobby, phone number and address are not printed, although description is printed (email address is printed).
Please check it.
2 years ago #1219469Yes. I have changed the source code in this file: /wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/layouts/resume/single/detail-style-2.php
If you want to move the website to another site, you also can copy the theme source code to another website.
Thanks.

Anyway, as I said even on the site you can access doesn't completely solve this issue. Only 1 resume has personal bio information printed out of 5.
Could you please keep investigating?
2 years ago #1219479Hi again.
As I see, it only gets the bio information from the profile to display on the resume details when you don't input the description on the resume details.
Do you want always to get the bio information to display on the resume? We can help you do that.
Please check it and let us know again.
Thanks.

I have changed the source code at file details-style-2.php to help you display the bio information.
Please recheck it.
Thanks.

It is perfect.I also found out that the reason why it didn't do anything before on my dev site was because I was using "detail-style-3.php.
So this time based on your modification on "detail-style-2.php", I modified the style-3 in the way I wanted.I am closing the ticket now:)
