At the top of the Employer’s Dashboard page, there is a message that says “You’ve received no application.”, as seen in the screenshot below.
If there were no applications, it says "You’ve received no application." If there are 2 applications, it would say "You’ve received 2 application." In both of those examples, "application" should be plural to show "applications".
We request that an adjustment be made in the case of 0 or 2 applications so that "applications" is plural.
Thank you for your help with this. Our audience for this site is composed of lawyers, so we need to make sure all details are accurate for them. 🙂

Thank you for contacting us.
1. For the string "You've received no application", you can find that string in our language file wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/languages/noo.pot line 13228.
2. For the string "You’ve received 2 application", you also can find that string in our language file wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/languages/noo.pot line 13219.
We also have the format for plural "You've received %s applications".
Please recheck it again.
Thanks.

Will these changes be overriden when we update the theme in the future?
Regards,
Sara
2 years, 3 months ago #1219046We checked your recommendation and it seems that we don't have provision to handle singular and plural text strings separately, for these strings in particular. It seems like we can fix the issue we spoke of, but then it breaks the English that was correct. Can this be resolved in a future update?

Filename: manage-application-ajax.php
Line Number: 21
2 years, 3 months ago #1219062Hi again.
We have used the Loco Translate plugin to help you change the string.
Please recheck it.
Thanks.
1 year, 11 months ago #1219715Would we be able to go into the line of code and adjust this issue individually?
1 year, 11 months ago #1219720Hi Ryan,
You can find that string in the language file to know the file and position for that string.
Example for the "You're received no application":
#: layouts/dashboard/manage-application-ajax.php:22
#: layouts/dashboard/manage-application.php:49 page-company-application.php:100
msgid "You've received no application"
Please recheck it.
Thanks.
