Hello
This is a huge problem for those building multilingual sites. Jobs and candidates are not filterable in other languages.
For example, when I add a job in English and then switch to Russian, that job is visible but filtering doesn't work. In that case, searching by location doesn't give any results. Same with most other search criteria.
I'm using the WPML plugin and have translated all the taxonomies and strings, played around with many different settings, still, I'm not able to get this work.

- In English you have Job Location 'Estonia with id 150' and have 2 jobs for it.
- In Estonian you have Location 'Eesti with id 323' is translate version of Estonia. But you not create translate version for 2 English jobs to Estonian. So, when you filter Job by location Eesti. it will give empty result. You can also see the Job count of location 'Eesti' is 0 in admin. You can contact with WPML support to get more info.
Best regards.
3 years ago #1217417I do understand what you mean but you do not seem to get the problem here.
It doesn't make sense to manually translate a job to make it filterable across other languages. If there are hundreds of jobs added every day, that's literally impossible to do. I don't need the jobs to be translated at all, just to be found via a search function.
For example, someone added a job in London using the EN versions of a site. Now, someone from Russia using the RU version wants to apply for an international job, but he won't be able to see that job because he's switched to the local language and JobMonster is unable to filter international jobs unless they're manually translated.

3 years ago #1217432So the only way is to manually duplicate jobs in order to make them filterable in other languages?
3 years ago #1217440Yes. because that is function of WPML
