    Hello..

    I want to add my website to the Google search console. But the html file is asking to edit.

     

    You can verify your ownership of a site by adding a <meta> tag to the HTML of a specified page. We'll verify that the meta tag exists in the correct location. If we can't find the tag, we'll give you information about the error we encountered. This tag is tied to a specific user.

    You should install Yoast Seo plugin then edit the meta tag of your Homepage to fix this issue.

    I've already installed the plugin. But it can be a lot of satisfaction if you tell me how to edit the meta tag homepage here.

    As you said, I've added the Meta tag Yoast SEO. But a new page is being opened as page not found. Help me solve this problem early because the last step to launch the website is left.

    Yes, exactly. When you edit the home page, scroll down you will see Yoast SEO section which you can add more information for your page here.
