Robux (R$) is known as Roblox’s primary and solely currency by the community and staff; Introduced on May 14, 2007, Robux was formerly one of two currencies on the platform alongside Tix (which were removed on April 14, 2016). all paid items created by ROBLOX within the avatar shop or Catalog are sold for Robux, and user-created content like microtransactions and game passes also follow the same rule they require you to pay for access. The name ‘Robux’ is a mix of Roblox and “bucks“.
