After few tests I found out that the plugin above which used by the theme makes the backend very very slow. In the plugin settings only "page" is selected as "Content type".
Do you have any idea what could cause this ?

I go to check your site. i have use default WordPress theme, deactivate plugin to check, i see speed load page is slow. please check your sever or you can use cache system to improve speed load on your site5 years, 6 months ago #3397
first, what kind of cache system are you talking about ? W3 total cache for instance ? I don't know if we can cache the backend ? Is it doable ?
second, what you can do to check is deactivating the plugin without even deactivating the other plugins or the theme. You'll see a difference right the way.
so I am sure it's the plugin and not the server.
please check it again and let me know.
i wanted to create a ticket at the author's website but I need a license5 years, 6 months ago #3590
I'm sorry for late response. The cache system my college mentioned is a general server cache but I don't think it will help much on this problem.
My college also test with disable the theme and still have the slow admin so we concluded that there's no problem between our theme and Visual Composer.
We can't give you the license to contact support from VC maker because our license not allow this. What we'll do is updating Visual Composer to the latest version, and hope that it'll help resolve this problem. Currently we're testing the latest version of Visual Composer with our theme and we'll update it in the near future.

I was not saying that the problem comes from your theme, I knew that the composer was the problem, I was asking for a license so that I can ask the author of the plugin... Can you ask the author from your side if this is a known problem ?
Anyways, hopefully that this problem will be solved very soon cz it's impossible to work with such a slow backend, it's just horrible. I don't know if it's possible to use another composer or not... All depends on your theme maybe...
Thanks,5 years, 6 months ago #3602
Since we're using an old version of Visual Composer, I don't think asking the author will help, I'll contact the author If I see problem after testing with the newer version.
If you need to fix it soon, please let me install the new version to your site before releasing it. It also helps me on the test because I don't see any problem with Visual Composer on local version. I'll make sure your data is preserved.

First thank you so much for your amazing support to the community ! You guys are doing an amazing job, seriously!
I am giving you the permission to test on my server because its really giving me hard time.
The plugin is disabled for now because I need to do some work on backend. And since I am working on the website right now. Can you test after the next 2 to 3 hours ? And make sure you have all the backups 😉
And hopefully I will get a good news after that.5 years, 6 months ago #3605
I will need more time to prepare the new version so I will start on tomorrow. I'll make sure everything is backup.

Just let me know before you start so that our backups don't conflict5 years, 6 months ago #3672
Just to let you know now when I try to activate js_composer I get a fatal error and I cannot get to the dashboard at all.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 44 bytes) in /home.../wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1402
Thus, I had to modify permissions to 000 on the plugin via cPanel to be able to access dashboard.
Are you gonna be able to test the new version of composer today ?
Please let me know of the results. Thanks5 years, 6 months ago #3725

I installed the latest version of Visual Composer to your site but it seems it still too slow. Maybe it's because of my connection, please check your site and tell me if it's also slow for you.
Do you think of optimize your database, using plugin like WP Clean Up
Also, there's many inactivate plugins on your site, please delete the unused plugins.
Kan Nguyen5 years, 6 months ago #3765
I just ran WP-Optimize instead of WP Clean Up, I guess they're the same right..
I removed most of the plugins and its still the same. But once I disable nootheme, the speed becomes normal 🙁
Please help5 years, 6 months ago #3766
Also since you've installed the new version I can't edit any page. It gives me the a 404 not found page.
There is certainly a conflict somewhere between your theme and WPBakery.5 years, 6 months ago #3809
I want to download your site to my local computer to check this problem, is it ok for you? I also will need your database in my local to re-produce the environment.
Kan Nguyen5 years, 6 months ago #3810
Yes please go ahead, just help me fix this problem as soon as possible. Thanks.
And let me know.5 years, 6 months ago #3907
