Hi Everyone, not sure if anyone has experienced any issues with their "Frontend Editor" missing from Visual Composer? I bought this Job Monster template sometime ago but have been avoided using it like a plaque because the Frontend Editor disappeared after re-installing the Theme in a new WP Installation in a subfolder, but on the same domain name as when the template was purchased. Tried Mr. Google and all the forums however couldn't find a fix to this issue, so I thought I would share this on the Web to help anyone else that is experiencing the same.
Basically, upon re-installing the template, the coding for Visual Composer will change from vc_enabled_frontend() to vc_disabled_frontend(), effectly disbling the plugin's Frontend Editor for all users.
For some who are new to coding, the Developers Wiki Support Page for this issue, does not display enough information as to how to solve the problem, or even, where to start looking for the specific php file to begin troubleshooting the issue.
So, here goes ...
(1) Log into your Web Server and navigate to your root folder (eg. public_html / www) then follow the Path: /wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/framework/admin/
(2) Open the visual-composer.php file in your text editor, then review Line 22 - 28. Your should see the below code:
// Disable Frontend Editor
if ( function_exists( 'vc_disable_frontend' ) ) :
(3) Copy the entire code from Line 22-28 and replace it all with:
// Front end editor mode is enabled. Do something.
if ( function_exists( 'vc_enabled_frontend' ) ) :
<h1 id="title-text" class="with-breadcrumbs" style="margin: 0px; padding: 5px 0px 0px; font-size: 28px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.25; clear: left; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"></h1>
(4) Save the file and review the changes to verify that you can now see the Frontend Editor. (Note: If you downloaded this file via FTP to edit, then Upload It back to your Server once changes have been made!)
Thats it! Hope that helps!! 🙂

It's the correct way to add the Frontend Editor for Visual Composer, but please note that the reason that it's disabled is because we can't perform enough test to make sure everything's working. So there's potential problem when you use Frontend Editor.
