Updating theme to include demo data

Hello

I want to update to:

- the latest version of WordPress;
- the latest JobMonster theme (to include demo data)

but keep all customisations made to the JobMonster theme on https://sanderspearson.com

Can I pay for your expertise to complete this process as I am not confident in doing it myself ?

Going forward, can anything be set-up to update automatically without overwriting customisations ?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. 

if you customize directly on the theme, the update will be lost. If you want to update, first backup the site first and then back up the files it customized then update, finally use child Theme to update the custom based backup file
