Hello,
I have a major issue with implementing Yogi Theme. As soon as the instalation is complete, it prompts that the Visual Composer (and other plugins) are necessary. OK, I install it, but it won't activate: it says "Installed But Not Activated, Requires Update", that installed version is 5.0.1 (over five months old version!) and that minimum required version is 5.1. When I click Update, it starts updating - but from files that came with the theme (Downloading update from http://[mydomain]/wp-content/themes/noo-yogi/plugins/js_composer.zip…), so it reinstalls the same version of plugin therefore not solving anything, still stuck with 5.0.1 version. Where can I get newer version of the plugin? Since now the page is broken – with demo content it just shows shorttags where ie. images should be. It simply doesn't work, it doesn't do what I paid for.
The same goes for Revolution Slider plugin.
The theme needs to be allowed to download newest versions of plugins from external repository, or at least you should allow users to download current version from your website. Former is highly preferable, because otherwise it is impossible to have secure site – as I cannot have WordPress core to autoupdate automatically, I have to wait till you somehow allow us to download newer versions of plugins and install them first before updating WordPress.
Tried the current version of WP (4.7.4), I also tried to downgrade the WordPress version and even with one year old WP (4.6) it doesn't allow to activate the 5.0.1 version of Visual Builder. So it is definitely checking for current version of plugin, requiring it to run - but since you gave me access only to the older version, I'm stuck.
How will you solve this problem?

Jackie.3 years, 11 months ago #1029466Jackie,
how it will be with future updates? I'm concerned whether I will need to manually update plugins in the future - and where from will I get these new plugin versions?
And how it will be as soon as my support expires? Will I get updates after that? How? Will I need to ask at forum? Will I even have an access to the support forum?
Thanks in advance for your answer,
M.
3 years, 11 months ago #1029819Hi Prostor.
Thank you for feedback us.
The last version of all our plugin will include in theme package. When you install the last theme version, you will have plugin file. You just need to deactivate the plugin and reinstall it again.
Thank you.
Jackie.
