I write to inquire as to how to make the Noo Menu transparent.
Haastrup4 years, 2 months ago #49056
Our plugin has an option to set the menu bar transparent: http://prntscr.com/bf06ws
However, it'll depend on your theme, if the menu is placed in a header bar including logo and menu, you'll have to create CSS code to make full header transparent.

How can I use different colour on a particular menu say "RECRUITER"?
Also, how can the search icon be distanced from other menu, so that it will not cover any menu element when used?

I'm sorry, I haven't realized that you're using our JobMonster theme.
To use Noo Menu with Jobmonster, you'll need some customization, for example:
- The post job/resume button need a new class to change color or change style to a button.
- The user menu needs a customized layout file.
- The menu's search doesn't look good and it won't work with jobs/resumes search so I suggest you disable the search.
This is the topic that helps fix some problem of Noo Menu:
I can help you resolve the issues if you give me the FTP account ( it seems you changed it ).

I help you improve the menu by adding a layouts file for user-menu.php and edit file functions.php in your child theme. ( I borrowed the button style from @rafa0192 ).
It looks better now, let me know if you want to change anything.

I am wondering how the REGISTER button can be like the POST A JOB button.
Also, Is there any possibility of hidden some button from certain page?

About the error with XML file, the trust is I don't really know what cause it. Maybe there's another plugin that generated a sitemap.xml file and interfered with YoastSEO's function. I think you should trust YoastSEO plugin and click Fix It
To add a button in the menu, you will need a button shortcode similar to the code I wrote in the functions.php file.
<?php echo do_shortcode( '[vc_btn title="Register" style="3d" color="blue" i_icon_fontawesome="fa fa-key" add_icon="true" link="url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jobruns.com%2Fmember%2F%3Faction%3Dregister%2F||"]' ) ?>
If you use the above code in the place of Register link ( file user-menu.php ) http://prntscr.com/bgmaoh you will have a button.
However, you can't use that button to call the register modal, to do that, you'll need further modification of the Visual Composer's button shortcode ( file /wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/templates/shortcodes/vc_btn.php ) and add the class 'member-register-link' to the button link.

The code do_shortcode will need to be added to user-menu.php file.
And you'll have to find a way to add the 'member-register-link' class to the button; I think editing the vc_btn.php file will help but I don't know exactly.

Many thanks Kan,
I think I will revert to previous setting, without noo theme, a bit complicated for me and I don't want to mingle with the code. I am just learning, not there yet.
Anyway, I do appreciate you time.
