<!-- [if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Does the text regarding the app apply?4 years, 9 months ago #29460This reply has been marked as private.4 years, 9 months ago #29469
1. I check your site and find that you are using the old version 2.6.1. Please back up all the data and update the latest version 2.8.1. Then check your issues because we usually fix bugs in each updated version. If your issues still exist, please let us know.
2. As for spelling error of the word introduce, we will modify it in the next version. Yet, you can use languages file and Poedit to change the word.
Similarly, you can also use poedit to modify the phrase Describe your resume. Please refer to this link:
3. Could you explain more clearly about these points:Does the text regarding the app apply? AND Dashboard appears – will this be removed once the site is migrated over?
You mean it is admin dashboard which will be removed when the site migrated over?

If you do not want to lose changes after updating the new version, you can install childtheme.
Using Childtheme has some advantages. You can change (Add, reduce, edit, delete) without having any influence on Parentheme when we release an updated version. Besides, it will not eliminate customs you edited.
Moreover, structure of child theme is quite simple. It only includes 2 files that are functions.php and style.css. If you want to edit any file, you can copy that file from a position of parent theme to the corresponding one of childtheme:
For example, you want to make changes to header PHP file. In parent theme, please see the directory of this file: framework> admin> customizer > css-php
In childtheme, please create a similar directory > paste the header file you copied from parent theme into a corresponding position in child theme .
You should follow these steps to update the new version and install the childtheme:
1. Back up all the data:
Go to wp-content> themes> Change name of noo_jobmonster file to noo_jobmonster_old.
2. Update theme
Please refer to this link to learn how to update new version.
See the image: http://imgur.com/j6zI1Uv
3. Install childtheme
When you open jobmonster package, you will see noo-jobmonster-child.zip. Please go to Appearance> Themes> Let the mouse hover over the another theme, for example, Twenty Fifteen> Click activate> click Add New button> Upload theme> click Choose file> upload Noo-jobmonster-child.zip > Click Install now.
4. After you install the childtheme, paste edited files in the parent theme into the corresponding position of the childtheme as I instructed you above.
