I want more than 8 search fields in advanced resume search widget. I followed instruction from your forum. Changed the counter to 10 in the for loop of widget.php file. But in the widget section after selection the 9th and 10 field and click save they go back to none.
is it possible to add criteria based search in the advanced resume search. for example if the employer want to filter the resume based on age range(like 24 to 40) and salary range.

4 years, 11 months ago #1073347Conditional search is really import as far as job portal is concerned. For example salary range - if employer wants to see the candidates whose current salary in a specific range - like between $2000 and $3000. How can I implement it. If there is not plugin or widgets will you guys help me to do by altering the code.

Thank you for contacting us.
Sorry for the late response.
Yes, you can change the advanced search on the widget to 10 option by changing the code at file wp-content/themes/noo-jobmonster/widgets/widgets.php class Noo_Advanced_Job_Search_Widget line 1516.
On this class, it has some position need to change the po value from 8 to 10.
2. With the condition search field, as salary field. You can create a salary field with type is select, and the field value as
Under $1000
$1000 to $2000
$2000 to $3000...
Then you can search by this field value. That is the way some of our customers do it with salary field.
As you see, with the custom field, you can't a conditional logic as the static field. Because we don't know what is field value...
Thanks.
